Gabriel Motta, CFP®, MBA

Hi, I’m Gabe Motta.

I know that making a major financial or career change can be intimidating.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, and began my career in financial services in 2004 at GE Capital in New York City. Over the course of more than two decades, I built a career that included leadership, executive, and advisory roles at several large Fortune 500 financial institutions. Eventually, I made the decision to leave that career and build something of my own. It wasn’t an easy decision. I had built a successful career, had a stable income, and had spent years building professional relationships. The thought of walking away from all of that was daunting.

But with the help of other professionals and a clear plan, I was able to figure out what I really wanted and take the steps to build it.

I founded Inclinevest because I wanted to make a deeper impact and help people like you navigate the important life changes that come with transitioning into the next phase of your life.

Gabriel Motta is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and founder of Inclinevest, a fee-only financial planning and investment management firm serving retirees, near-retirees, and professionals preparing for retirement.

Before founding Inclinevest, Gabriel spent more than two decades in financial services, including leadership, executive, and advisory roles within large Fortune 500 financial institutions. His career began at GE Capital in New York City in 2004 and later included UBS Financial Services, U.S. Bank, and BBVA, now PNC Bank. As a Wealth Planning Analyst at UBS, he worked directly on financial and investment strategies for high-net-worth households. In branch leadership roles at U.S. Bank and BBVA in Colorado, he managed teams and client relationships across full-service banking operations. This experience gave him a close look at both the strengths of institutional wealth management and the limitations that can exist within traditional advisory models.

Today, Gabriel works directly with clients to help them make confident financial decisions around retirement income, investment management, tax-efficient withdrawal strategies, and long-term wealth preservation. His approach emphasizes evidence-based investing, comprehensive planning, and disciplined decision-making to support clients through changing markets and life transitions.

Gabriel is committed to acting in his clients’ best interests and providing objective advice aligned with their goals rather than product sales or commissions.

Gabriel holds an MBA and bachelor’s degree from InterAmerican University and completed additional studies in financial planning at Northwestern University as part of his path to becoming a CFP® professional. Additionally, he is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning in Denver. He continues to stay engaged with the financial planning profession through ongoing education, professional communities, and industry conferences.

Next Step

Let’s See If This Is a Good Fit

The first conversation is straightforward and pressure-free.

I want to understand your situation, your goals, and what you are trying to accomplish. From there, I’ll give you a clear answer on whether I can help.

If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so and point you in the right direction.

I work best with clients who value a long-term relationship with an advisor who can guide them through every stage of their financial life.

No obligation. Just a conversation.
