We may not be the right fit if:
• You want to self-manage your investments.
• You are primarily looking for stock picking or short-term trading advice.
• You prefer a transaction-focused relationship rather than long-term financial planning.
Inclinevest focuses on long-term planning, evidence-based investing, and building sustainable retirement income strategies.
While we have a strong specialty in helping people aged 50 and over who are within 10-15 years of retirement or already retired, we serve a variety of individuals with complex financial lives. Our clients are typically "delegators" with investment portfolios of $1 million or more who realize that managing a complex portfolio and navigating financial planning is a full-time job they don't want.
We do our best work with:
Ultimately, our clients recognize that as we age, our capacity and desire to handle these financial complexities naturally decrease. Instead of stressing over important financial decisions, they would rather spend their time focusing on their family, hobbies, and the wealth they’ve built.
Furthermore, they want the peace of mind of knowing that if something unexpected happens, their spouse or partner will be in good hands. Because let’s face it: in most relationships, there is often one partner who handles the finances and another who simply wants to enjoy life without needing to know the intricacies of the stocks and planning. We are here to bridge that gap and provide security for both.
Yes. Most clients prefer the convenience and efficiency of virtual meetings, but we are happy to meet in person when appropriate.
We regularly travel to visit clients and can arrange in-person meetings when schedules and location align. For prospective clients with more complex planning needs, in-person meetings can also be coordinated after initial conversations.
We start with a complimentary, no-obligation Introductory Call or Virtual Meeting to learn what matters most to you and answer your biggest questions.
If we both agree it’s a good fit, we begin our onboarding process to gather key information, clarify your goals, and build a coordinated wealth and retirement plan. From there, we provide ongoing, proactive guidance. We meet with you regularly to review your progress and stay connected in between to ensure your plan and investments remain aligned with your evolving life.
People hire Inclinevest to help manage and organize their finances during important financial transitions and to reduce the risk and complexity of managing wealth on their own.
Many clients also want a trusted professional who understands their financial picture and can provide ongoing guidance as circumstances change.
The most common reasons people hire a financial advisor include wanting clarity about retirement readiness, managing risk, reducing taxes, planning for wealth transfer to heirs, and staying disciplined with investments.
We help clients:
As a Fee-Only Registered Investment Advisor, our only compensation comes directly from our clients. We do not sell financial products, we do not earn commissions, and we do not accept kickbacks from third parties. Furthermore, as a Fiduciary, we are legally and ethically bound to put your best interests ahead of our own at all times. This eliminates the conflicts of interest found at traditional brokerage firms and ensures our advice is entirely objective.
Several factors distinguish Inclinevest:
Independent and Fee-Only
We are not affiliated with a bank or brokerage firm and do not offer proprietary investment products. Our compensation comes directly from clients, which helps align our incentives with the families we serve.
Focused Expertise
We concentrate on comprehensive investment management and retirement planning rather than offering every possible financial service. This focus allows us to go deeper in the areas that matter most to our clients.
Planning and Portfolio Integration
Investment decisions are made within the context of a broader financial plan, including retirement income, tax considerations, and long-term wealth transfer objectives.
Yes! We work with families across the United States, as well as American expats living overseas. Since Americans living abroad generally need to maintain their accounts with an expat friendly U.S. custodian like Charles Schwab, our virtual approach is a perfect fit. Thanks to secure video conferencing and digital document signing, working with us is just as easy whether you are five miles away or five time zones away.
We believe that investing should be driven by evidence, not emotion. We do not try to time the market or chase the latest fad. Instead, we build globally diversified, low-cost portfolios tailored to your specific risk tolerance and retirement goals. While our approach is primarily passive (utilizing Exchange-Traded Funds, mutual funds and index funds), we incorporate active management where it truly counts, such as for bonds and other strategies where appropriate.
Our main focus remains on what we can control: tax efficiency, keeping investment costs low, and maintaining discipline during market volatility. Additionally, for clients with a higher risk tolerance, we can discuss and advise on alternative investments.
Yes, with your permission, we will collaborate with your tax professional and estate attorney to ensure your investment strategy, tax planning, and legacy goals are perfectly aligned and nothing falls through the cracks. If you do not currently have a tax professional or estate planner, we are happy to introduce you to trusted experts in our network.
While we typically schedule dedicated review meetings once or twice a year to review your financial plan and portfolio, we are always available in between. Whenever you have a question about your financial life, simply send us an email or schedule a quick meeting directly on our calendar.
Our fees are customized for your particular situation.
We specialize in helping investors who need and want a long-term relationship. A proactive, ongoing service model allows us to continuously refine your financial strategy and plan as your life and the markets change. Because of this, we typically do not offer one-time project services or hourly engagements.
